FAAWait: unofficial FAA App: Know Flight Delays & Cancellations Like a FA ($0.99)

iOS app FAAWait looks like an invaluable app for frequent flyers. Heather Poole, a veteran flight attendant of AA, suggested the app to Johnny Jet. I am liking it a lot. It costs 99c, but worth the price. Perhaps you might find it useful.

Here is Johnny's report: https://www.johnnyjet.com/anticipate...tions-faawait/

Do you have a favorite useful travel app?

BTW: I really enjoyed (and learned a lot) reading Heather Poole's book
Cruising Attitude Cruising Attitude
. She should write another one for the frequent flyers.

Is this the same data that’s available for free on https://www.fly.faa.gov/flyfaa/usmap.jsp?

Possible. I wasn't aware of this site. But, I think, the app is valuable even if its the same data. You can quickly get all the information at one place just by tapping on the app.

As this has nothing to do with a specific airline, it will move to the Travel Tools forum. If it meets that forum’s guidelines, it will be Found there - with a durable trailing link from the original forum it was posted in.

I've been using the FAA site for years, however, I prefer the graphic interface:
