I put the itinerary in bookwithmatrix, it gets parsed properly, click on priceline desktop, itinerary shows great, price too, go through the passenger data, seat selection, and then when trying to enter the credit card information I cannot select the card type, it is blank. The site won't let me purchase unless I select a card type, yet there is none to select....

Anyone else experiencing the same problem? The itinerary won't show up in CheapOAir or AA, so it is either Priceline or priceline for me on this one, but it doesn't let me purchase. Maybe the link used for priceline desktop is outdated?

Thanks for reporting the issue! We found out through another separate report that Priceline had changed their systems, so we're now directing everyone to their mobile link. Give it a shot now, and I think it should work.

Fantastic tool (but that is coming from someone who can't send an SMS)

I spent days unsuccessfully trying to price the following itinerary on aa.com and various OTAs before using your tool and ticketing via aa.com.

One strange quirk: to get the QF segment SYD-AKL on Mar 25 I had to input Mar 24 on ITA and then Ctrl Alt V the itinerary with the MAr 24 flight into your tool and voila the ticket quote on aa.com would come out with the QF flight on Mar 25 - don't understand it but it doesn't detract from my level of awe.

It looks like BookWithMatrix has now partnered with a travel agency to issue tickets. There is a $15 service fee per ticket but looks as though they will issue whatever ITA spits out (including specified fare classes).

Haven't tried it but seems interesting for some complex itineraries.

Excellent work on their part. The site won't properly recognize Matrix itineraries with train services* but that's a pretty minor edge case. It does work with the UA - Amtrak codeshares though.

Has anyone here actually booked a ticket with the travel agency featured by bookwithmatrix.com? I would like to give them a try and was wondering if there are others who have already booked with them.

Thanks for noting the update, TTT! We can now reserve and issue tickets for US credit card holders for most itineraries. We've also figured out some of the kinks in these past two weeks thanks to this.

We've booked about 20 or so tickets since we started offering this service about 2 weeks ago, and it's been working fine for all but a few itineraries which we've escalated to the GDS. Give it a shot, and let me know how it works for you!

I love this tool - haven't used it yet but have been playing around with a few itineraries to possibly book in the future. I do need some assistance though - it seems ITA Matrix won't be able to pull up ALL possible itineraries. Phsource, is there a good way to contact you (send PM on FT?) in the future if we need an itinerary constructed that doesn't automatically come up in a Matrix search? That's awesome that you're serving as a travel agent now - will really help facilitate ticketing some of these complex itineraries!

I came across an issue with open-jaws.

Using a simple UA EWR-AMS//LHR-EWR, the itinerary previews correctly after the paste. Priceline prices it in line with expectations, but your agency comes up with a different price that corresponds to a EWR-LHR round-trip per the fare details (even if AMS is mentioned in the fare calculation).

Hmm, interesting; we've been able to replicate this on the same itinerary and confirm that this is an issue. We've messaged our GDS with this issue, so let's see what they get back with.

Update on this: we've implemented a workaround, so open-jaws should work properly again. Still waiting to hear back from our GDS on why exactly this issue was happening, though.
