SkyRunner. A better ITA Matrix search.

Hi,

I've built a Google Chrome plugin which provides a better interface for flight search with ITA Matrix. It has several screens with different approach to search, like time chart, multicity with multiple routing codes combinations and also makes it possible to save search queries to see or re-use them later.

To install it, download the plugin file from http://skyrunner.pw/plugin/skyrunner-latest.crx, then go to chrome://extensions/ in Chrome and drag and drop the file onto this page. If all goes well, you will see an airplane icon on the top bar. Click it, and you are there.

Feedback and suggestions are much appreciated!

Am trying it out now.

Looks very good - I would just suggest playing around with the fonts and colours a little bit, to make things more visible. A lot of black text on white background, spaces close together, is a little difficult.

D.

Edit:
1. Well done on storing history
2. changing itins with many legs is a pain - while ita will automatically insert your new leg according to the date, with your app (unless I am mistaken ?) you need to redo the while thing

notes from a very quick use:

1) multi-column sorting

2) column-based filtering

3) show each-way durations for rt instead of total rt duration

4) I REALLY like the more flexible days-before/after options on Matrix as opposed to your 0, +-1, +-2 choices

5) if filled out one particular search type (multicity say) and click to a different type (calendar say), prepopulate all appropriate fields from original screen
