mileBlaster frequent flyer tool thread
This thread is for discussion regarding the mileBlaster frequent flyer tool. mileBlaster tracks award programs against award and elite goals, sends expiration alerts at 6, 3, 1 month and 1 week prior to expiration with easy links to keep miles from expiring. It also finds limited time extra miles bonuses for your trip, like double miles on a specific route, and it calculates the miles you will earn for any route on any airline for any seat class, and figures out what program you should put those miles onto to best get to your goals. mileBlaster is available on the web at www.mileblaster.com and is available for iPhone/iPad and Android as well as the web based version. We welcome your comments and suggestions about the product.

Welcome to FlyerTalk and the Travel Tools Forum!
We apologize for any delay between posting and the post becoming visible to the membership at large. Flyertalk anti-spam protocols require any new poster's initial posts with links or graphics go to a queue for review and approval by moderators. Your post did so and has been approved.
mileBlaster looks like another tool that might be useful for those of us who wish to track our miles and points progress on multiple programs.

P.S. One question that will undoubtedly be asked is if mileBlaster is able to display American Airlines AAdvantage account information?

It looks like the basis is iTunes and visiting through that link asks permission to run a script to download the app to work with iTunes.

Mile Blaster is a great app for keeping track of all your miles in one place. I wish it would include UK Avios, but apart fromthat, it's a great free app that I recommend. http://www.mileblaster.com.

Interesting scattering of first posts in favor of mileBlaster - we hope we see more of them on the boards, though I suspect they are being asked by mileBlaster to sign up to FT and post a recommendation.
It's not necessary, however. Our longtime members will undoubtedly carry more credibility for others than folks dropping on on a one-time dryve-by.

I have flyer miles that will expire soon. They offered cash for the balance but is it an advantage to use the miles for flights or mechandise? What are the options? is it a better deal to use for merchandise or take the cash? (sorry if i posted on a wrong thread)
