Scanning with HP network scanner/printer
I've got an HP CM1312 networked scanner/printer/copier/fax. The HP scanning software frequently crashes and I just don't want to use it. I've uninstalled it, and now I'm trying to figure out how to install the scanner as a plain TWAIN scanner so I can use the Windows Scanner wizard to scan. How do I do this? When I go to Control Panel and add a new scanner, I click Have Disk and choose the install folder where the scanner's INF file is, but no options show up in the ensuing dialog.
Any ideas? Not really travel related, but it is work related!
