unable to select links in e-mails

I have a Blackberry Curve with T-Mobile running on a 4.5 OS. Recently I have been unable to select links in my e-mail messages so that I am unable to connect to the links. I even reloaded service books but that did not help. Does anyone know what the problem may be? Thanks
