Amplifying the iPhone Ringer
Just ditched my cablevision telephone service as both my wife and I have iphones and very rarely used our landline. I'm wondering if anybody has an idea on how to amplify the ring volume on the iphone. For instance perhaps attaching the phone to some sort of dock with a speaker which will amplify the ring when there is an incoming call.
Basically looking to be able to hear the phone ring from any part of the house.

I have a motorola house phone, now discontinued, that has a bluetooth dock so your cell phone calls will ring and be displayed on any of the house phones. Vice versa, you can also make outgoing calls from your home phone and they will be routed through your cell phone. I would bet there are other vendors with similar bluetooth docks.

I saw this device advertised on Amazon the other day. I haven't used it and the reviews don't look stunning. Though it is a neat concept.

Sorry for the double post though I also just ran into this http://www.ampli-phone.com which looks like another neat alternative, and a little cheaper.
