FlightMemory.com Premium Worth It?

I think the title pretty much says it all but to those of you who use it, would you say its worth the $40/yr? Thanks.

I don't have it, but before you go that route I'd take a look at OpenFlights. They have made many of the "premium" features from FM available for free. They also have a tool now that will import your FM entries so you don't have to re-enter everything. Definitely worth looking at. You can click the link in my sig if you want to see what a somewhat populated account looks like.

You can try it for two months for $7.95 - a pretty small investment to see if you like it!

I've been premium since it was introduced and love it. I like the interface and display better than OpenFlights.

This thread inspired me to try it out, I tried importing two pages but have given up. Not only does it not recognize many airports, but the process for entering them is extemely difficult.

OpenFlights is promising, and the developer is very enthusiastic: FlightMemory import was broken and he fixed it within a couple of hours after I emailed him.

The only thing that I take issue with is that there's no info on privacy/data protection/t&c. If I use a service that stores pretty personal information I - for example - wouldn't mind knowing they're going to keep it confidential.

I'm sure he has no malicious intentions, but either way, I'm just a little bit uneasy.
