ASUS computer
Hi!
I saw an ad for an Asus Eee 1000 computer. I have a dell laptop, which I like, but it is a brick (heavy). I am looking for something smaller and lighter for my travels.
I am a computer novice, so keep that in mind when giving advice.
I only use my laptop for surfing the web, and e-mail, and reading PDF documents, and writing Word documents, and syncing with my Ipod.
Would the Asus be a good choice for me?
Specifically, I am concerned with ease of use.
Looking for any advice & comments.
Thanks in advance!!!

I suggest you start by looking in this thread about the ASUS eee. It is long but full of juicy bits of information. If you still have questions when you're done feel free to use that thread as a good place to solicit additional answers. In the mean-time, I'm going to close this thread.
