Error message on iTunes/iTunes Store

When I'm trying to log into the iTunes store, I'm getting an error message stating, "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. Unknown error occurred. Make sure your network connection is active and try again".

Any idea what this is? I know my network connection is active because I'm sending this message from the same laptop my iTunes is on.

It happens from time to time. I would suspect a capacity issue on their part. It usually clears up in a short while.

It's been happening for a week. And it's never happened before

Well it's been 3 weeks since I've been able to log into my iTunes. I don't believe its a capacity issue, since I've never had trouble ogging in before.

I've run a diagnostics and it shows I have internet connection, but says I don't have a secure link to the iTunes Store.

Anybody else have an idea?
