USB synch application?

USB synch application?
I'm looking for an application that can be installed on and run from a USB drive that will synchronize specified folders between my laptop and the USB drive. It's important that the app run from the USB drive -- the IT Police won't let me install applications on the laptop.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
