ASUS eee PC901

So I finally took the plunge and bought the new eee PC901 (Linux, 20GB) in London yesterday.

Whilst delighted with the purchase, I have stumbled across something quite annoying.

I have been trying to transfer a portion of my music library across, and it seems to copy across quite well, all apart from the album art. I have tried the 'fetch album art' feature, to now avail.

Has anybody come across this issue before, and if so, how did you solve it?

Did you have album art on the source machine? (Was it windows?).

Album art is actually stored inside the MP3 file itself. What were you using to play the files with?

Hi Scott,

Yes, I had album art on the source machine. I have been listening/ripping music using WMP11 in Windows Vista.

Of the 100 or so albums transfered, album art for two albums transfered, both of which were downloaded and not ripped from CD.

Cheers,

Matt
