First glimpse of Dell eee Killer

So somebody bumped into Michael Dell with his new toy...

It looks like a member of the current HP Pavillion notebook line to me, probably the same ODM.

It actually looks pretty similar to a Latitude X300, layout-wise. The battery, connectors, and SD reader are all in the same places.

I actually like the mininote a lot but a dual core ULV would be sweeet, or at least one of the new VIA chips not a c7-m

I'll be curious to see the specs when they announce them. These type of laptops are certainly starting to get popular.

eeePCs are ok but have you ever tried to make the battery life last for an 8 hour transatlantic flight?

What I like about this Dell mini notebook is the three USB ports. The more the merrier.

With the stock battery plus a double sized spare I bought from ebay, I used it for most of the flight FRA->IAD.
