Berry Locator
Last time I was at my T-Mobile store (yes I visit it frequently to see what's new) the assistant manager (who knows me by name), told me about Berry Locator. Has anyone ever used it? I have a daughter (24) who loses everything and IM's me to call her every time she can't find her phone (she's too embarrassed to keep asking friends). This would be a god sent if it worked. Thanks

I don't think this service is going to tell your daughter that it's between the couch cushions, under the bed, sitting on the counter in the bathroom, etc - unless Google Maps has her private home mapped.
If she already knows it's in her home, this service will only reconfirm that.
Oh, I just read the rest. Makes noise too. How can it override quiet mode settings? That would kind of piss me off, actually.

I think the neatest feature is that it will trigger a noise even if it is in silent mode. There is nothing worse than wasting 15 minutes searching the house for a vibration when you know the phone is there and you can hear it ring on the other end. Of course, this largest problem that this doesn't solve is that you must have service or it doesn't work, and for GPS to work well, you also usually need a clear view of the skys, especially on a cheap cell phone GPS.
Another service I can recommend is phonemyphone.com, which lets you enter a phone number online and it will call that number so many times until you find your phone and pick up.

Seriously, my wife has a BB and her first thought was now I could track her all the time. She tried downloading the application and had problems.
It does seem to have utility if you leave the BB some place and don't notice its missing after making several other stops. This did happen to her once.
