Looking to get one of these for my fiance' for Xmas. Glad to se that they reloaded some refurbs. I may pull the trigger on the 2.0Ghz model for her. Plus I still have my $100 iPhone credit!

Yeah, I see that. Might be good here (I could get it for my girlfriend who doesn't really need the brand new one at $200 more). I think the real problem in your search for the MacBook was that the only one that would be cheap enough is two generations old now, the ones with the Core Duo rather than Core 2 Duo. Used to see things that old on the refurb store occasionally (when I was shopping for an iBook for my dad a couple years ago, I kept finding some ancient G3 ones after G4s had been well established), but I haven't seen them more recently.
