Anyone here on WAYN.com?
Got an invite from a former student to join her network on WAYN.com (Where Are You Now). It seems to be a travel-oriented social networking site, with features like being able to put in your travel schedule, finding other members who live there, finding other members who will be there at the same time due to their own travel schedules, and so on. I don't know anything about its real value/usefulness, the demographics of its membership (more hers or mine? We're decades apart in age, among other things), how much it's a dating site for people who travel a lot (not a priority for me at present) or anything else.
Anyone here on it, or know anything about it?

I am a member, but I'm unclear what the benefits are. Several people I'm not in close contact with sent me invites, but when I check their status on the site, it appears they are not active members. Hopefully someone here on FT can shed more light...

I have been there for a year. Every few months I go back to try to figure out the point. Cross between travel site wannabe and MySpace wannabe. I wouldn't waste your time.
