In the last six months they updated my house, from a pre-2003 photo to a 2005 photo.

I don't think you can tell via the website, but if you download Google Earth and install it, I believe there is a checkbox in there someplace that draws some colored lines on the screen indicating when that particular section was photographed via a legend.
