LinkedIn's question feature is very useful for polling your peer group and network for answers to questions that you are facing, but someone else has already found an answer to.

I've been using LinkedIn since its beta. It is a great service and shows consistent improvement in functionality over time. There are other services similarly positioned but I think LinkedIn is the premier business social connection site.
