vonage issues

Dunno. Today got up and checked the phone. On my linksys pap2 vonage adapter, the 3 and 4th lights are on, but no tone. Internet is working as I'm typing this on it, so not sure whats going on. Restarted the router and cable modem....

No problems here in central Washington State, Vonage is working just fine.

Mine does this every now and then too. I usually just unplug it and wait a bit. Sometimes I need to call in and have them do an update on the box

Not so odd, it happens periodically. Usually I wait an hour and it comes back, but if not, I do like ScottC said.

Make sure you set the network unavailable number (in the features section when you log into vonage.com) so that when the system is down it rings through to a land line or cell phone, so you don't miss calls.

Looked at Vonage:

D-Link VTA

How do I update my phone adapter?
As long as your device is connected to the internet and communicating with a Vonage server, your device will automatically upgrade to the latest firmware when it is available.
ScottC:

You may have another adapter ...!?!

Yeah, I've got the original Motorola box from 2003... In theory it should always update without intervention, but usually it fails doing that.

Already do that. Actually if I dont answer after 20sec, it forwards it to my cell.
