China Airlines Power Source?

I am leaving from Houston to Taipei via Seattle, then Taipei to Manila in a couple weeks. I have a laptop and wanted to know if there were any power sources (empower, sockets, etc.) on the plane I'm riding.

I'm flying Economy Class in an A340-300. China Airlines. Does anyone know if China Airlines' A340-300 has any empower or power ports in their economy class? Thanks in advance!

Their web site mentions Dynasty class has AC power but mentions nothing for economy. I hope you find out; I'm curious of the answer too.

You might want to try the other Asian airlines forums, but my guess would be no.

I even flew once from the West Coast to TPE in Business class and had Boeing Connexion but no power in business class...

Their website very unreliable. Flew JFK/Tpe in business and it's old 747-400. Did roundtrip Taipei/KL, old airbus with no power either.

HK route and Taipei to west coast use newer planes so in theory you'll get power....

I stop flying them for over 10 yrs and purely coincidental on this trip that I flew them...besides their safety record being not the best, i know now why i stopped flying them years back. Definitely sticking with singapore, cathay and thai whenever possible, even Eva is better.
