PC Info software?
Is there some program out there that will tell me all the details of my pc from what company and model of RAM i'm using to the CPU version and motherboard version without opening up my case?

System Informaton under accessories then system tools tells you more then you probably need to know.
There's a few commercial software that does it, checkit comes to mind

though I haven't had the need to use that software in many years.

Perfect. Now I can check what RAM I need for all those office PCs without having to open each one up
