Problem Accessing FT From Hotels

It happened at Chelsea Four Points and VA Beach Hilton.

When ever I try to load the FT pages, it just trying to load the page but it never loads the pages. Has anyone experienced this? BTW I tried both Firefox and IE but got same reponse.

Only way I could access FT and some other websites, I had to use proxy web surfing site, i.e. proxify.com

When I first got my Linksys G router I would see this problem when trying to load Flyertalk pages. A router firmware update took care of that. Not much help for you, I guess.

This happens to me at work quite a bit. Sometimes I retry right away and get the page to load, other times I have to wait hours. I operate on a server based system so I have no idea what goes on with the Citrix server during the incidents.

I run into this from time to time as well. It usually hangs up while trying to load advertisements from the ad servers. Since the ads come from a third party, I'm guessing those ad servers get bogged down at peak times.
