RAZR Vc3 question

Hello all,

I recently purchased a RAZR Vc3 from Verizon. Overall, I like the phone for what it is but I have started noticing a buzzing noise while in a call. This only occurs when the LCD is illuminated. Once the LCD shuts off, the buzzing goes away. Is this a design problem and all RAZRs have it or is it phone specific. I have read other reports of it happening on earlier model RAZRs, but not on the Vc3 specifically.

Thanks for the help!

Nor have I had this problem. I love the V3c from Verizon, primarily for its great RF. I get calls in all the places that were blck holes with my previous phone.

I have two GSM RAZRs (including the new quad-band model) for Orange and this has happened with neither.

I am also a VZW customer and got the KRZR a week ago. No audio problems at all, in case you want to switch.

If you want a much more definite answer, may I suggest you join Howard Forums? It's a lot like FT only for cell phones. At the following link, http://howardforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=294 you can find a forum devoted solely to Motorola Phones made for VZW.

I've owned the Verizon Motorola RAZR V3M for about...oh...3 hours now. I can't seem to figure out a way to "delete all" text messages instead of deleting them one at a time.

Anyone know if it is possible or am I looking for a feature I no longer will have with my new phone?

There is a way to delete all text messages in any folders. If you push the menu button, move over to the "messaging" option and then use the right soft-key (upper right button) to select "options" you can select to erase the inbox, drafts, sent or all.

Just an update, I found that the buzzing goes away in the call and I was only hearing it when I was not in a call. Doh!

My phone makes the same subtle high pitch buzzing if you hold it up to your ear when no call is being placed. It must be a characteristic of the model.
