Seatmaps "book"?

Hi,

is there a book with all the seatmaps?

Of course there are plenty of online tools to show different seat configurations, but would would be really helpful would be a small, perhaps laminated overview of seat configurations.

Has anybody seem something like this? Or maybe a pocketpc software that would allow offline access to seatmaps?

Matthias

there are some books, sent out to 1K and 1P members, not sure if they can be purchased anywhere.
What I do though, is go to seatguru.com and download the graphics that are for the airlines and plane types that I fly. So, go to the site, pick your airline, pull up the planes, and then right click, SAVE IMAGE AS, and then you are done. It is nice that they are all named the right thing, like UA 777 world-wide, or other.
I have a small folder on my ppc 6700, which I just pull up when on the phone or talking. The only thing that isn't there are the pop up notes with details about the seat, but the RED, YELLOW, GREEN are all in the graphic.
works just fine.

Most airlines used to publish dead-tree timetables with seat maps in the back. I don't think I've seen one of those in ages, though.

I think OAG still publishes dead-tree timetables, but I'm not sure if they have seat maps.

Your best bet is to get an internet card for your pocketpc and go to seatguru.com.

I actually just did it with my regular pc, much faster and everything and then just sync'd them to the ppc. Works great

You could use something like HT Track (which lets you download entire websites) from http://www.httrack.com (free) and have it all on your laptop, not sure if you can get it to a pocket machine or not.

I love that software, it brings in the entire contents of a site so you can surf for hours if you want off line.

The seat guru site is just under 20 megs, certainly easy enough to carry on a flash drive.

Great solution!

Downloading the whole site is a great idea. Especially since I found http://mobile.seatguru.com/ which is optimiyed for small screens!
