Balance control for MP3 player?

Balance control for MP3 player?
I have a slight hearing loss in my right ear which has the effect of shifting the stereo field when I listen to my iPod with headphones. I've used this balance control with my previous MP3 players (I shortened the cable):

However, given my nice small iPod, with its nice small remote control, this balance control is a bit on the big and clunky side. Does anyone know of a smaller, svelter balance control?
