MacBook running hot? Do a striptease!

Apple reports that some MacBooks appear to run too warm, with their internal fans running consistently and heat emanating from top and bottom. If this happens, check its rear vent for a thin piece of clear plastic. “This is used in the factory to prevent dust from getting into your computer,” reads an Apple tech note. “If your MacBook has the plastic still over the vent, simply remove and discard it.”
