new laptop - software not required

I need a new "house" laptop. I don't care about software as I will re-image whatever I buy with my corporate base image (XP Pro + every other application I could imagine). If I don't care about the software, is there a cheap laptop worth getting. Or is the price not that different and I should just go to CostCo and get one that has stuff on it?

If you buy through the Dell Small Business store you should be able to get it without an OS. Worst case just get it with XP Home for a cost of like 40 bucks.

I think only some Dell laptops come w/o an OS and they're usually more expensive than those w/ WinXP Home. Check out the coupons on sites like FatWallet and buy yourself a Dell.
