Grounding Adapter Plug for Non-Grounding Device?

Grounding Adapter Plug for Non-Grounding Device?
Hi all,
I'm planning a trip to UK later this month from the US. My digital camera battery charger is a dual-voltage equipment, listed as 100-240V and at 50/60Hz. It is non-grounded (meaning it has two prongs.) From my research I need a "Non-Grounding Adapter Plug C", as opposed to a "Grounding Adapter Plug C".
My question is: If I buy the Grounding Adapter Plug, will I be able to use it for my two-pronged device? This way I can be prepared for a three-pronged device later in the future. Does this make sense?

You'll be fine with either one I think. I would suggest you just buy a bag of the most common ungrounded plugs unless you have specific requirements for having grounded equipment with you while you travel. A guy I met on a trip told me that because he works on oil rigs all of his devices had to be grounded. Unless you fit into a similar profession you can likely save yourself just a little bit of space and weight (and cost) by buying the ungrounded adapters.

Buy a grounding plug. The unused hole will not affect you. I have a bunch of non-grounding adapters and my new laptop has a grounding plug (and so I need to go get a grounding adapter).

Another option that will handle the grounded issue, and all future travels.
Just keep it in my travel bag and I don't have too worry where I go. Always seemed to misplace the individual plug adapters.
