Laptop Batteries? (Replacement)

Hey everyone - I want to get a replacement battery for my Toshiba laptop. It's stocker is a 8-cell that lasts less than 2 hours . I go onto toshibadirect.com and they sell a 12-cell that lasts 3 hours... my question is: is there a name brand that does OEM replacement batteries that's even more reputable than back to Toshiba itself... and possibly selling higher-end units that have more cells/mAhs and would last longer? Any suggestions? Thanks.

You might want to try www.kahlon.com and see what they have.

Batterytech as well makes after market batteries. We sold a ton of them when I worked for a LAR.

What model battery or Toshiba laptop is it?

I may have a couple of QUALITY used batteries available.

This thread is pretty old... but in the event anyone else with a Toshiba comes across it...
After years of agitation, I finally found a QUALITY replacement battery for my Toshiba. The brand is Denaq and it's an awful lot cheaper than OEM but seems to be of the same quality. It even comes with a 1 year warranty (though, thankfully I have not yet needed to use it!).

Anyone with a similar suggestion for a Dell 700M? Bless its heart - it is now almost five years old, and the battery life is finally showing signs of flagging. It would need to be sourced from Australia or New Zealand. These days it would probably make more sense to buy a new computer!

Try the link below! This is the website where I found my battery. I'm in the US, but I know that they ship overseas as well. My cousin, in New Zealand ordered one!
