Webcams .... Creative, Logitech, or ??
Just wanted to take a poll to see what webcams you are using. Just downloaded Skype 2.0 and want to start video conferencing.
Any recommendations? preferably under $50

I have a higher-end Logitech and it's really neat. The only problem is that it bluescreens XP if I attach it to a multi-monitor machine. Disabling the secondary monitor fixes the problem, and the software is actually quite stable otherwise.
What I'm trying to say is that if you have a multi-monitor setup, you might experience serious usability issues with Logitech.

I use a Logitech Orbit MP($120). I can't make any comparisons to other webcams on the market, as the last one I had was a crappy Kensington model a number of years ago.

Bought a Logitech webcam (about 60 bucks) three years ago. Used it a couple of times. Dusted it off when Skype 2.0 came out. Had a video call with my friend in rural Japan and the quality exceeded expectations. Not sure which model to recommend. But I have to believe that almost any Logitech web cam under 50 bucks should work fine.

NOTE: Logitech QuickCam For Notebooks Pro is way above your budget. But works great & very portable.
