e-Boulevard
I've been using e-Boulevard for the last 2 years for online presentations. Plans starting at $30/month, or $300/year for 1 presenter, 5 participants.

We use genesys (http://www.genesys.com) at work. Don't have a clue how much, but it works & we seem happy. Includes all the webex stuff + pure voice conferencing (#+pin) mostly what we use).

A division of my employer is the global leader in scalable meeting and conferencing technology solutions - WebEx is one of our prime competitors, but our products are superior in terms of technology, features and price.
PM me and I can put you in touch with our sales team who can show you how our products compare.

If you want to avoid monthly fees completely, you should consider RHUB's web meeting appliance. RHUB lets you host unlimited web conferences, do remote support and also give you remote access to your computers. Flash and even JavaScript can be used, so there should be no issues for attendees joining a meeting.

dimdim still works well for me, they were recently bought by salesforce.com though, haven't seen any changes. One can turn on and turn off the serivces at will

We ALSO use eBLVD.com
We ALSO use eBLVD.com for all of our web conference / remote access needs. It runs about half the price of all the others. Other services that we tried are Java or Adobe Flash based, and these technologies are not installed on everybody's computer. And if it isn't - you are going to look BAD! There is nothing worse than having a meeting that no one can attend..also eBLVD's faster & easier than the others.

Readytalk
I use them - easy, affordable, and super easy to record the presentation and have people just click the link (if you're explaining more than once) to hear/see it.

I use Microsoft Lync (formerly LiveMeeting). With Office365 (www.office365.com), you can get it (plus Exchange and SharePoint) for $6/mo/user in the Small Business SKU and host meetings with up to 250 participants.

Laws for this were passed many years ago as a way of subsidizing carriers that were providing service in areas where it would not otherwise be financially viable.
