Question suggestion for calendar/daytimer/to-do software?

Currently am using Palm sofware v 4.1,and it's good but not great for me. I use fully the calendar & to do list, with delegation options & scheduled completion dates & priorities. Years ago I'd used Harvard Planner, which seems to not have an electronic version.

What I'm looking for is software that will integrate the todo list with the calendar. Ex) if on 10/6 I have a priority 2 task of "PM Randy to ask for Guru status on FT", I would like that to show up on my calendar for that day. Currently, the only way to do that is to assign it a time on the calendar for that day - simply using the to-do section & assigning that day will not merge the two. So, is anyone using a software program they can recommend?

My ultimate wish is to be able to import data from Goldmine. I used to be able to do that with my old Palm v3 and intellisync software, but now it just won't play nice with it. Anyone got any favorites?? ^

"DateBook5" from handango appears to be an updated improved version of the old datebook plus that shipped for free with my handspring. I have been using it for 6 weeks, and the rolling "To Do" list at the top of the calendar page is quite handy.

Too bad this software was not bundled into the original package, but I guess Palm can't afford to include 3rd party apps as HW prices keep falling.

I have been using Time and Chaos from www.isbister.com for a decade now. Very nice program.

There is a an add-on for synching to the Palm, which I have also used for many years.

No complaints at all.

I like Life Balance for tasks but it wont let you delegate things. I try to do that through outlook when I sync but I am still trying to figure out exactly how it works through the several programs in must operate in. I second the recommendation for DateBook5. It is worth the upgrade over the built in one that comes on the Palms.

Take a look at Agendus and Agendus Pro from Iambic. They just released Version 10 of Agendus Pro, which integrates all of the basic Palm functions. It will sync with Outlook and the Palm Desktop, as well as some others (I think).
