Language Translator Feedback
Have finally decided to get one. I speak fluent Japanese and passable German but frequently visit countries where those languages don't help..
Even if I'm with a person who speaks the languages, menus are the usually the biggest challenge...'this is a meat but I don't what you call it in english...'
Am interested in those who have tried the simple & less expensive LCD screen devices (Franklin & Lingo appear to be the main providers) versus those that actually speak the phrase/word to you thru headphones.
Also I have a Treo 600 so that's another possibility...
Tks.

I'm wondering about these as well. I get by alright in English most places around the world and I try to learn a few common phrases at least for wherever I go. But does anyone have feedback from using devices like this?

Thanks!
