Comcast to MP3

I like the Comcast music channels(decent play list, and no disk jockey) and would like to save in MP3 format. I run the signal through a receiver and could dump it into my computer. What software would I use to get from music output to MP3 files?

Use linux to encode it from line input to MP3 on the fly.

You wont get full quality as you're going D-A unless you have a digital out on your comcast box and are doing directly into a digital input on your receiver.

Check out Total Recorder. It works quite well at things like this.
