iPod "jacket?"
I am looking for a case for my iPod photo. I'd like to find a rubbery one that can protect the iPod from scratches and dings in my bag, but that doesn't increase the size much.
Any specific recommendations? Places like ipodlounge.com cause me option anxiety.
Thanks.
Mike

We tried one on my wifes ipod but didn't like any of them, we ended up going with a hard case/sports case from Contour.

I like the Speck cases if you use a dock, because the bottom half flips up so that you don't have to remove the whole iCondom.

These guys have a wide variety of iPod stuff http://www.xtrememac.com/ I've seen some of their stuff on the shelves at Apple retail stores, and it seems to be well-designed, but I can't yet personally vouch for any of it. (I'm waiting on the AirPlay transmitter for iPod shuffle, which I ordered just after it was announced. Seems to be the best designed such device out there.)

I got a no name "jacket " at my local CVS store. It is made of wetsuit material like body glove. it fits snug but not a hassle to put in or take out. it is purely a storage device though no slots or windows. it works good for me and was less than 5 bucks

The nicest ones are at www.vajacases.com
They make cases for lots of PDAs, mp3 players etc. They are exquisitely well made leather cases. Expensive and it takes a while to get them (many are custom made, you pick color etc) but the quality, craftsmanship and design are the best I have seen by a wide margin. They fit like gloves. Ive had a number of them for various devices as has my wife. I wont even look at other cases now if Vaja makes one for what I am looking for.

And for another opinion....
I ordered a couple of the "PodSleevz" from RadTech. These are made out of ultrasuede and do a very good job of protecting my ipod from scratches and dings. The MAJOR benefit is that the material is very thin and doesn't make the ipod any bulkier. All controls work very well through the fabric. Unlike the rubber cases you aren't giving up anything in terms of size or ergonomics with the PodSleevz... (It's easy to get the ipod in and out as opposed to the rubber cases)
An added benefit is that the material is "sticky" when placed on other fabric... that means that I can place the iPod on my leg while sitting and it won't go anywhere (especially helpful for those times when I fall asleep listening to music).
