I disagree, as US Airways uses a different type of power adapter (Empower) than other airlines such as AA (cigarette lighter style plug).

Try the Kensington adapter, which should work with your HP. $60 at buy.com.

Look at the iGo Juice - it works for all types of power ports and all types of computers - check eBay - I got mine for $45.

I bought the Kensington for $40 after rebate a while back. Works great on both AA (cigarette lighter adapter) and cars and also on Empower (UA, US, etc).

since it's not the travel tech forum

Gonna move this to where it probably belongs.

Thanks,

Now I'm curious as to which forums this thread has been in, it seems to have been at least two. I wish that FT had a thread history tab where I can see this.

I'm not sure iGo juice works on every laptop. They have this thing with you needing to buy iTips which vary from laptop to laptop. (Dell has a ridiculous number of different power tips)

Also Dells sometimes require more power than the juice's slimmer versions (I think one is 75W while some Dells need ~90-100W)
