TripTracker program

I'd like to recommend a nifty little tool I just started using to keep track of my flight itineraries, AAdvantage miles, and expenses. It's called TripTracker and it runs on a pocketPC and/or PC/laptop, and it coordinates with Outlook's calendar (adding your flights, hotels, trains, etc. to the calendar). It's even got a mileage estimator (reasonably accurate) in case you don't feel like looking up the mileage when entering your itineraries. Your expenses (which can be tracked in any foreign currency) and your mileage/hotel points can be exported to Excel for further manipulation. Additional capabilities include a currency converter (requires manual entry of conversion factors) and a time/distance calculator (timezone converter as well as estimated flying time and distance). And it has a semi-useful sync feature so you can update your laptop info from your pocketPC or vice-versa (unfortunately, it's not bi-directional, so be sure to remember which device has the latest data!).

I started using this tool on a recent two-week, four-country, four-currency business trip, and it was very helpful. (Showed it to three of my colleagues who were travelling with me, and all of them started using it as well!)

I found this tool on download.com (where you can download it for a free 14-day trial). Full purchase price is $29.95, but there's a 20% discount if you get it at www.handango.com and use the discount code "TWOPEAKS".

(And no, I am not affiliated with the company that sells it, nor am I related to or even acquainted with anyone who is!)

I recently purchased it, but seem to be having a problem getting miles to add up. I enter activity for a FF programme (either directly, or via a new trip), but the totals never increase - just shows the miles I entered when I first set up each FFP. Tried to find help on the site, but to no avail.
Any ideas?

Trip Tracker is a handy easy way to keep track of expenses. A few wrinkles, but fairly easy to use.
