Hi Folks--
Newbie here, forgive if this is inappropriate-- there's a great sale at Best Buy, ends Feb 12, for a D-Link WiFi (G) router (DWL-923). Just search it at their website. Sold out on line-- but available in most stores.
Why bother? 1) after rebates it costs between $12 to $20, depending on local taxes. That compares with $110 for the competition. 2) It includes a wifi pc-card as well as the router.
Best of all, the thing is super light weight (8 oz) and small (1.25"x5"x4.25") and has a light and small P/S (5 oz, 1"x1.75"x3").
I plugged into AC, plugged in an ethernet cable and voila--a fab, cheap travel router.
No-- I don't work for D-Link or BB... And your mileage may vary-- But I'm

I bought this back in mid-Dec on buy.com for $79. The $50 rebate showed up in the mail this week (about a 7 week turnaround). Works just fine. It replaced an older router that was starting to die.

I looked it up at Best Buy.
Here is the link: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....4&type=product
There is no rebate mentioned. How does it work to get a rebate?
Thanks

Double check the dates before purchase, there are several rebates listed in the Best Buy Rebate pages for this (three of them) they all expired on Saturday the 12th.
