I hope that certain others also will state any economic interests they have relating to allofmp3.com or the music recording industry in general.

I don't work for the recording industry, and I never have.
I owned a DJ business for many years, and I paid for all my music, or I received promotional copies through legitimate means.
I've never downloaded any recording, legal or illegal (other than radio broadcasts, for time-shift purposes only). I prefer to own physical copies.

Looks like allofmp3.com and mp3sparks.com have been shut down, according to this article: http://www.computerworld.com.au/inde...4;fp;16;fpid;1

If you have AllTunes app, you can still download your existing credit.

I'm betting this won't be the end of the story, just the end of a chapter.

So I repeat my question from post #237
So is there a DRM free, but fairly priced (both to buyer & artist) site anywhere....I got stung by Rhapsody for paid music but DRM kicked in when I was on vacation and couldn't re-sync with MP3 player...

Apple and the Music Industry thinks $1.29 is fairly priced for DRM free tracks in iTunes.

Emusic sells DRM-free mp3s, but they don't have major label stuff. Itunes now sells DRM-free songs from EMI. Amazon is going to do the same later this year.
