PAL to MPEG convertor

Looking for a PAL to MPEG, or even a PAL to NTSC convertor. Don't ask why.

Note: Not software, a hardware box to do this.

Realtime PAL to MPEG:

http://www.plextor.com/english/products/ConvertX2.htm

Realtime digital PAL to NTSC:

Just make sure you get a decent digital converter, and not one of the cheapy analogue ones.

Tmpgenc is an expensive transcoder that will handle PAL and produce the highest quality mpegs of any software solution priced under $1,000.

A REALLY good one is this one:

http://salestores1.com/emevntdimuvi.html

It also has a built in time base corrector, something you'll usually end up needing if you plan on going from device to device.

I still do agree with you though, that is one of the best encoders there is.
