Hi all
I am currently involved in a trial of the BT Openzone WIFI service and must say to start with "what a great service it is, very quick and easy to use.
I am looking to use the service so our staff on the road can have high speed net access from there laptops, and also access to our corporate network using VPN.
This is where the problem starts.
Laptop setup will connect to an ISP using dial-up and then the VPN connection can be used. When using the Openzone connection all connects OK and using the WWW is great. But when the VPN connection is started It takes an age trying to connect and then errors out and no VPN connection is made.
Has anyboby used the service and managed to get a VPN connection working with it?

I am pretty sure I used PPTP over Openzone. But it would figure that BT would run some sort of NAT that prevents other VPN's. Hopefully it's just a configuration issue on the PC or server.

I use the Cisco VPN 3000 client over a BT OpenZone almost on a daily basis without any issue. The only annoying thing is I have to set my browser not to use the corporate proxy, activate the VPN, then flip it back again.
