Good world phone with cingular

I could use a recommendation for a cell phone (using Cingular). I live in the US, and use my phone here, in europe and SE Asia. Are there now 3 band and 4 band phones? I have a sim card from my cingular account and want to buy an unlocked phone. any ideas?

If you want quad-band GSM, the Motorola v600 is offered by Cingular. It covers 850/900/1800/1900 MHz

If you buy a tri-band phone from from Cingular, it will usually omit the 900 MHz band, giving you dual-band coverage in the US, and 1 band to use when you are outside the US.

If you want a phone that is easy to unlock, go with a Nokia phone from Cingular. You can easily unlock those yourself for free. Just search Google for Nokia DCT4 unlock - there are numerous websites that can do it for free. I used a site called http://uniquesw.com to download a free tool to unlock the nokia using the phone's IMEI number (similar to a serial #)
