Cingular Treo 600 using T-Mobile service
Hi there,
I am considering buying a Treo 600 from Cingular since it is unlocked. I want to use it with T-Mobile. I tried it in the store and it works. Any disadvantages? I can't access t-zones, maybe no more applicable since it has pop3 access?
Also is there a way to change the boot up picture showing the Cingular sign to something else?
Thanks for any input!

As long as the WAP/GPRS and POP3 settings can *ALL* be changed you will be able to get it going no problems...

Doing a search on Google Newsgroups (ex-Deja), will come up with more info on settings:
http://groups.google.com/groups?q=Tm...oe=UTF-8&hl=en
internet2.voicestream.com is the primary APN for GPRS when using standard T-Mobile internet GPRS service. Note you may need to check with customer service if your account can access Internet Access and not just T-Zones.
