Office Update - problems with SP3 ???

Please note we are discussing Office Update here, not the more commonly used and discussed Windows Update. Thanks.

Ive just installed the SP3 'critical update' and my Office performance has become increasingly slow. Especially Outlook seems to have become just plain slow, with a 2-3 second delay to open and close emails...

Anybody else have this issue?

Thanks very much.

The problems keep getting worse. Now, Word is very slow and hangs. I get one of those messages that say they have found an error and the program needs to close...

Seems like SP3 is just full of bugs. I need to uninstall it and revert to SP2...

I cannot uninstall the SP3 update. Ive done 2 ***two*** system restores and still, my Office programs appear as SP3.

I guess my only choice is to re-install Office Completely?

FWIW I rarely install updates for anything until they have been tested in the field by the general public for 6 months or more, and I read more good reviews than bad reviews.

I would reinstall it, revert to SP1 or whatever seemed to work ok, and turn off any automatic update options for anything.
