MPEG4 Cconversion??

I'm trying to convert a video file to a small Mpeg4 file so I can get it in my new phone. It still comes out horribly large no matter what I do. Any suggestions (Scott??)

Which phone... not all (video phones) will play native mp4 and may requre mp4 encapsulated in the 3gp file format

Also what tool are you using to create the MP4.

Have you scaled down the size to match your display (phone) size and the color depth the phone supports...

I presume you want to load it into a P800 or 3650, which encoder are you using? Vics? Packetvideo?

Did you try the Packetvideo trial encoder kit here: http://www.packetvideo.com/tools/authordownload.asp

The only possible problems might be that you are using the wrong codec, bitstream or size. Let me know any more info you have.

Well, the programme worked very well, thanks Scott.

As for the 128MB's, is that all Sony stores worldwide?? and is that $89 in the US only, or does the price hold firm everywhere?

Glad it worked, it's a nice and easy package.

All Sony stores in the US got them, outside the US they are hard to find. Sony charges $89 but online they are usually going for $110.

Well I'm not in the US, nor will be for awhile. Too Bad.

A few stores "have" them online, but in reality, none do!

Thanks again for the help

I understand Brando has them though shipment takes a week longer due to SARS:
