Russian internet spoofing??

I flew RIX-FRA yesterday, the internet onboard ("Lufthansa FlyNet") was not working. The flight attendent claimed this was due to Russian internet spoofing. He offered to try resetting their system, but repeatedly claimed that over the Baltics, Eastern Poland, and worst of all Sweden, their onboard internet was hardly working due to Russian interference.

I am aware of Russia engaging in GPS spoofing. But is satellite internet affected, too? The flight attendent certainly seemed sincere, but I'm not sure he was well-informed. Can you guys enlighten me if that's a thing?

Both Russia and China have expressed concerns Starlink can be used against them for military purposes. China is developing a mesh shield to block satellite targeted attacks.

I've used Lufthansa FlyNet between ARN & FRA/MUC without issue in recent months
