Cart loses

Hi guys,
First post

I work for an airline company, recently we had a lot of cart and container losses.
I am looking for a solution to locate our carts at our various stations.
I was thinking about RFID labels or some kind of AIR TAG inside the carts.
What do you think? What do you do to prevent losses?
Thanks

depends on the problem. if the carts are still at your stations, then they can work although you have to do your own cost-benefit ratio. but if the carts are stolen, or moved out of range, then they wont help, as RFID or air tags location tracking only works when it is close to a reader or antenna or iphone

there is always the old put in a quarter for the cart. the supermarket i goes to, they have carts that lock itself if it goes out of the store.

Slightly different problem than I expected from the title.

I wondered what the cart had lost, or who the cart had lost to, but find the post is about cart losses! Are we talking about the type of container that goes in the hold and the type of cart that holds food and drink onboard? Just trying to get an adea of the size of the item and the problem.

First off, welcome. Second, this does not make sense. Airports might own the carts. Airport service contractors might own luggage carts. But airlines?

A new user who posted on 23 Feb and was last seen on the site on 24 Feb, so probably not awaiting any answer from any of us .... seen this scenario before, we are probably not going to hear from them again!
