Chrome or internet browsing on Android Auto?

Is there an internet browsing app on the current Android Auto in the car? Thanks.

There's MUCH better than just that! Get a copy of AAAD: https://github.com/shmykelsa/AAAD

That will allow you to install all sorts of "fun" apps Google frowns upon. My car has a 12.1" 1080p screen, but it's not a touchscreen, so I used AAAD to install Screen2Auto, which clones my phone's screen onto my car's screen. I use Bluetooth keyboard (
Amazon Amazon
) to do any major typing/etc. It fits nicely between the driver's seat and center console, and I put a rubber band around the top of it for grip so it doesn't go sliding when it's on my lap.

/rant: I'm frustrated with Google's heavy-handedness over what Android Auto will display. Just this past weekend I had RadarScope displaying on my car's screen as we were trying to avoid tornadoes from Hurricane Debby. Google thinks users shouldn't have access to on-screen weather while driving. Screen2Auto fixes that. Similarly, I can pull up FlightRadar24, FlightAware, Windy, and even YouTube on-screen with this arrangement, which makes lectures MUCH better-suited for car use.

Take a look at Carstream and Fermata Auto. AAAD will install both of them for you and get them working with just a click. I believe those DO allow touch-screen input on Android apps.

I think it's dangerous not to have radar and flooding info on the screen.

Case in point: This is a screen shot from a drive I did last month. I was actually driving southbound (this program shows the compass direction of the top of the phone). Without the radar, I-95 to I-10 makes sense. With the radar, that wasn't advisable, so I went west a bit to avoid being stuck in that mess for 40 miles. Note the storm warning boxes.

I didn't take a screen shot of it at the time but just two weeks ago we were driving with friends and the sky caught my attention. I pulled up the radar on the car's screen and saw there was rotation off to my left and we decided to head to the restaurant early in the opposite direction.

This is what popped out of that cloud 10 minutes later, right near where we just were:

I should also point out that a TV tuner is a factory(!) option for my car, fully integrated into the car's 12" infotainment system.
