Orange Holiday Data Question

Purchased and installed Orange Holiday eSim.

Landed in Amsterdam and received the welcome text.

I cannot use any data until I enable data roaming on the iPhone. Is that how it should be?

Yes. That is one of the requirements that probably is in place to prevent unintentional data charges.

Thank you. This was driving me crazy. I didnt think I needed to enable data roaming to make it work. It was also not part of their instructions.

That caught me out when arriving in the US last year. The air was blue until I realised what I'd (not) done.
