Good to know. I'm not a big fan of enforced app installs. At least now that I know, I can make sure I'm carrying some food for any TB flights I have to take with them. Thanks!

You don’t need to have the app. You just need to add a card to your profile, which can be done in the app or on the website.

I paid for a Finnair flight using Apple Pay, on Finnair’s website, in March 2024.

It's awesome that Citi finally joined the Apple Pay bandwagon in Singapore, offering some sweet mile rewards. As for airlines accepting Apple Pay, Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific are definitely on board. I totally get your sentiment about enforced app installs, not everyone's cup of tea. Now armed with this info, you can plan ahead for any flights, maybe even for that Fort Lauderdale private jet trip you've been dreaming about.
